2011

Eve of new year 2011 was spent with lovely friends and my beloved children, Eiqa and IA. a gd 3hr singing session followed by a mad rush to the 48th storey high office of Leman's, we caught a great view of the fireworks. This year, it was a slightly different tune. The fireworks were melodious and as we watched from the skyhigh building, we didnt miss out every single routine. A great way to start off my new year with my lil boys, Idhan & Jazzil. The boys watched in awe and no doubt, after fireworks they made the mini pantry, their playground. Hubby had to work, so the 8 of us, namely, myself, Haney & Norman, Bestie & Fik, Jazz & Eza, and the children, hugged and wished each other before we wake up to a different day.

I started off New Year wit a busy schedule. Busy sounds like an everyday thing for most of you, but my being busy is a special busy. i had an important task. Preparing myself to be a proper and reliable Maid-of-Honor for my dear sister, Shasha, on her wedding day, which falls on 8th and 9th Jan 2011. I was practically doin the final touch-ups of their guestbooks, (a wedding gift for each) and also popping by the bride's house as and when, pre-wedding, to give her a gd hug and pat to lessen the anxiety she had.

It was their 4th year courting anniversary, the date chosen by the couple. I left my lil boy with mum, so me and hubby could give our best to the couple. Husband and wife, tag team on being BestMan and MOH. Coolness.

Although Mr Rain paid us visits a couple of times, the event went well for both sides. Family and friends gathered at their reception halls to wish the couple well. I had Hubby by Groom's side, Bestie Za & Fiance, clicking away on my cammie, Bestie & Hubby assisting the bride & Groom too, and Liyana, assisting us all. The rest of the family members did their job pretty well themselves.

At the end of the day, end of it all, as tired as i could be, i was a contented sister. I knew Shasha felt relieved and good that she is now officially Abg Ryan's wife, and that their big day was a happy event.

And days following which, i guess age is catching up with me. I was stuck at home, feelin just too tired to do anything. Lol. The traits of turning 30.

and of course my lil IA, as active as ever. I've named him My Lil Monkey :)

i cant believe time travels this fast.
3 days seems like 3 minutes.
anticipating NYE. aglio olio. movies. and quality time wit my daughter and son.

Ups and Downs of 2010

as the new year approaches, im sure everyone's busy thinking or creating new year resolutions. i am not coming up with one cos all the years i failed in keepin it hood. Im LOUSY i noe.

Jan - the start of a new life for me, being a SAHM. Xmas 2009 i left my company. no early morning rush; wake up and sleep and do every lil thing at my own pace and had so much time wit my lil IA. awesomeness.

Feb - celebrated my weddin anniversary simply. 2nd year together. this time wit a lil angel in hand.it was so so special. short get-away from Idhan Akil for a movie "my name is Khan",great acting and it moved me t tears! a lil time @ MArina Barrage and many other places i did not capture.. too happy spending time wit our lil boy...:O)

Mar - busy preparing for our new home. we r moving in to  TPY!

April - had awesome frens helped us move to our humble lil home and adjustments rolled in.

May/June - Bestie Za got engaged to her love, Aidil Remy. bliss. and me still checking out my newjobscope. - MAID. lol!

July - Idhan Akil's first bday bash at home, and days after which, first ever traumatising experience having IA warded in hospital for rotavirus. (minor) phew. 3 days 2 nights in hosp. am glad my boy is a fighter. Eventually, the rest of the family members, myself, niece Eiqah and hubby, got down wit Stomach flu. Flat to the max.

Aug/Sep - Ramadhan & Syawal was beautiful. We were in Purple & silver this year :)

Oct - my godson, Shariq Hilmi, was born on 3rd October. Bestie's bday on 13th Oct. The day i got myself infected wit Dengue Fever. a whole week of fever and rash and 2 additional weeks of recovering. it was crazy.

Nov - Hari Raya Haji at Inlaws. and believe it or not, my lil IA, got infected by HFMD. again, Allah swt loves this boy, it was a minor attack.

Dec - My birthday was a blast! a whole week of fun. From Universal Studios, Hard Rock Hotel, Wildwildwet, Snow City, Surprise party at home, all got me flushed up on my 29th! dear Ayin got engaged to her love, Hafiz, and Azam, my dearest buddy got married to his love, Sri Widyawati. *smiles*.

As we approach 2011, the first ever eventful day will be 01.01.2011 - Idhan Akil turns 18mths. :) and it will carry on, and my updates will roll in!

First and foremost a huge apology to frens for the inconvenience of having to follow my migration. truth be told, i lost my password and email add for the previous blog/google account. shame on a 29 yr old for forgetting things or likely to say, its irresponsible of me not jotting down my acct details somewer safe.

so here we are, welcome to a whole new beginning. good enuff to start off my 2011. thank you for visiting guys. i hope to fill ur days wit juicy stuffs, but then again, i aint a good writer. so bear with me. *lol*.
